Hebrides Self Catering House

Self Catering House on The Isle of HarrisWhile many visitors to the Hebrides choose to stay in cottages some of use, especially those with families, often require a self catering house. Staying in a self catering house not only offers a much greater freedom than that experienced when staying in other forms of accommodation, such as in a hotel or guest house, but it also means that you can experience something of what it would be like if you lived in the Hebrides permanently.

Vallay House living roomThe self catering house at Scarista (shown left), Vallay House, offers three bedroom accommodation in one of the most beautiful places in South Harris. The Isle of Harris is renowned for it's many splendid beaches and Vallay House is within waling distance of one of the most beautiful. The photograph to the right shows the living room of Vallay House and below you can see the upstairs double bedroom, which has it's own dressing room.

There are two bedrooms and a bathroom, with bath, shower and toilet, to be found upstairs with another bedroom downstairs. The downstairs bedroom is a single room with a shower room and toilet. The kitchen area is a galley kitchen leading off the living room and leading onto the dining room.
